A newbie again

We have a Full Moon in Aries today, an energy of individuality but also, considering all of the other transits in the sky right now, a prompt to see ourselves as part of the collective, of something greater than this singular form that we hold in this incarnation. As a prelude for the ritual that we'll perform later today, I asked my friend Rebeca in Argentina to perform an examination on me using her clinical knowledge, something that she's been blocking for years after she left medical school due to many issues she had in those days. I suggested that she could use her ritual implements in resonance with the instruments used for a proper examination in a hospital, which she successfully did. The examination revealed nothing strange but it gave me a good insight into an issue of balance with my sexual energy that I must tend to. I'll probably use today's ritual to go deeper into this.

As I received this examination, I began reviewing my past relationships with women and realized that I've been reprising the dilemmas and challenges that I faced when I was an adolescent and during my 20s. In other words, I'm approaching attraction and connection as a newbie again, but with a few key differences because of course, I'm no longer that Javier. I do feel that this new exploration is happening a bit out of synch with the rest of my process, but it makes sense, I've never had long-term relationships and I often spend years without any sexual activity. The task now is to balance this energy with the rest of the work that I've done and, for that, I must break some preconceptions and boundaries within myself.

The pictures you see above were taken during an event in the Central University of Venezuela, back in 2015, the year when everything really started for me. There were many beautiful and skilled dancers in that event and I felt privileged to be able to watch them and photograph them. That sense of privilege has only increased with the years and my personal involvement with my own female energy is much deeper than ever before.

Now that I'm meeting more women in general, I have much to discover about my feelings and desires, things that unnerved or confused me when I was younger, places I've never truly explored with anyone. However, now I have tools and knowledge at my disposal that I never had before, skills that I hadn't trained until this point. I understand and experience Pleasure at a different level too, I feel excited by the possibilities that I see around me, the avenues of Joy opening up before me. Whatever blockages and restrictions I have underneath, I shall unearth and turn into advantages, it's time to reconnect with sensuality!

Return, pattern. A necessity that you considered overcome repeats itself, reigniting old insecurities. Resort to the tribe to find succor and support, solitude is not wise in this period. You possess your own light, you do not need to walk in shadows; if you do it is because you wish to. Living in community demands certain conditions, fulfill them consciously and willingly, join the Dance and contribute to the fervor of the Fire. Accept your place and the associated responsibilities, those who fulfill their function are always at Peace. Focus on advancing, do not concentrate on the obstacles or complain about them, you can see them as tools and profit from them later; the Path is the learning, the Flame guides you to the Core.
