Virtuous cycles and possibilities

One of the clearest signs that we're evolving in our Purpose is the reception of new tools to fulfill it. Yesterday, I received my drawing tablet and a set of whetstones to sharpen knives and polish stones, which I'll use to design, prepare and carve my future creations. These two implements come pretty much as a Christmas present for myself, and I paid for them with my Hive earnings.

This platform has been a great enabler for me in so many ways and, as such, it's brought me and shall continue to bring me more enabling material, for this is how Freedom moves. Even the extraction of my teeth, scheduled for tomorrow morning, is an example of this enormous truth: I free myself from a burden and that enables me to continue expanding the road that I walk. It's been a while since I felt tempted to deviate from my course for any reason, and the recent surge of capacity and abundance in my life is a direct consequence of this choice. I enjoy this world, my existence in it, the connections I've developed and the ones that I've had to let go of, the work that I do everyday and the moments of idle gaming, the analyses and observations, the expression of my inner Universe; all of this and more is comprised by a thing that I enjoy above all others, my Self-discovery and Service.

In Hive, I've found a fertile soil to grow my seeds and, even though I don't make great sums of money here, I make enough now that I can get myself these wonderful instruments while also tending to my health and my home. That's a lot to say. Most people in this world right now either don't have a regular income to provide for their needs or work as paid slaves under a profoundly disabling corporate mindset. I don't have those issues. Nobody's going to die if I don't post for a couple of days, I won't fail any audits or tests. I do this because I genuinely want to and that's precisely why I take it so seriously. When we work for someone else's projects, keeping motivation gets tough after a while, but when we cultivate our own gardens, every plant and flower is ours to care for and also ours to enjoy.

Starting in January, I'll begin sharing my illustrations, designs and craftwork much more often thanks to these tools. I'm excited! That's really hard to come by in a regular job and, if it comes, it's even harder to maintain, but not in here, at least for me. Day by day I sit in front of this blank window-page and possibilities arise in my mind and heart: what should I write about today? how can I approach this or that topic? which pictures are best suited or at least easiest to use for the current post? And this last question now has an awesome answer, because I could sit for hours now to create graphic content on my computer and then pick whatever resounds with one post or the other.

Hive is both home and workshop for me, a place where I can share what I do at the same time as I deconstruct myself to get deeper insights of what I'm going through. Every post is mirror and window and from now on, the screen is also my canvas. In essence, Hive is enabling me to Hive more, a virtuous cycle that keeps boosting me upwards!

The possibilities expand, you must increase your precision, what is it that you truly want to do? Concentrate all your willpower and energy on a specific and clear objective. Do not focus on the nebulous vision but on that which you see sharply; widen your range of perception while you augment your attention, the background noise is only a distraction. Forget stressful narratives, there will be another time to study them; you have stories of greater relevance before your eyes. It is possible to live without effort or suffering, but it requires determination to face the Terrible Shadow willingly. Difficulty trains strength and accuracy; remember your training, then, and act in consequence. The necessary tension breaks and must be restored for fully functional senses. Remain alert even at rest, the opening may present itself suddenly.
