My recovery from the tooth extraction continues. Today the dull pain in the right side of my face woke me up pretty early because I had to do some cleaning late last night (small bits of food got into the hole were my wisdom tooth used to be) and the swelling hasn't totally subsided yet. My food options are very limited, which is a challenge because there's lots of good stuff to eat at home that are untouchable for me right now. No matter, I was prepared for something much worse than this and it's a decent price to pay for this transformation that has a lot to do with my capacity to express myself honestly. Besides, it's precisely the right time for this job, because tomorrow we'll have a Full Moon in Gemini, and anything that has to do with speech, interaction through words and exchange of ideas is on the table right now. Perhaps you've been feeling it yourselves, the energy has been active for about two weeks now. When I got my appointment for the extraction, I kept that in mind, because the mouth is ruled by Vishuddha, the Throat Chakra, whose function is to allow the expression of our deepest truth.

Yesterday I wrote about bravery, what it means, brings and entails, and this is definitely a time to be brave: we're prompted to speak up, to show our minds without filter, to be sensitive and listen to others faithfully, to avoid making assumptions without information and just sit down to talk, not just for fun or to give loose opinions about random topics, but to engage in serious, transcendental themes whose discussion requires exposure. Bravery has a lot to do with accepting our own vulnerability and that of others. If you have issues to smooth out with people you know, especially family and friends, this is the moment; if you've been waiting for the time to be heard in a sensitive context, this is it. Bear in mind, though, that others must have things to say too, and that you can't demand attention if you're not willing to give it yourself.

Gemini is the energy of patterns, close connections, duality, mirrors and intellect. Ruled by Mercury, this Sign is related to the capacity to use words to describe our environment and communicate what we feel. The Moon, on the other hand, is the deepest emotional power within us, the embodiment of our subconscious, our defense mechanisms and our sense of security. Conjoined, these two entities bring the opportunity to use our minds as conduits for our most profound necessities, to weave concise dialogues based on truth. Don't shy away from the hard conversations or attempt to impede them, even if they seem to devolve into arguments, because everything we keep inside when we want to let it out stagnates and festers, causing ever greater discomfort without any resolution.

Be brave! Christmas is around the corner and we've had two long years of pretty tough restrictions. If you have something to say, say it! If the people around you have something to say, listen! Give yourself the chance to settle scores in preparation to celebrate joyously and end the year with a clear conscience. Embrace honesty now that the stars and planets are aligned to help!

Impulsiveness may cause unsuspected troubles, think before you act. In strange places keep in mind that your body is your territory and you decide what enters it. You carry your house with you, each word and movement reveals the pillars that sustain it. Do not complain if your passage is impeded, there are doors that you must not cross and paths that are inconvenient for you to walk.
