Deconstructing the Watchtowers - Inktober #1 - No prompts
Hey, community! Here's my first Inktober entry. I decided to ignore the prompts and just use the event as motivation to develop my concepts.
"The Watchtowers were designed as symbols of power, beacons of awareness. They were both expressions of the deepest spiritual understanding and also of the highest order of technological advancement. For what we have gathered, their use allowed the Atlanteans to communicate across vast expanses, they could be reshaped to accommodate any sort of climate and some of them could be moved from one location to another. Our current research suggests that they were built with existing materials such as metals, crystals and stone, but once completed, they exhibited peculiar attributes which did not adhere to the properties of their composing substances."
Recording #45 - Dr. Lynette Emeric's Notes
Writings of the Watchtowers
Here's part of the process that I followed for this piece. The lines were mostly drawn in one single stroke and I'll use this month-long challenge to improve on several aspects, such as values and complexity.
