Following the Rune's advice

I often see my own process in the readings that I do daily, but usually as a side note. One of the main reasons I stopped doing daily readings last year was because I realized that I was identifying myself too much with the tool, and I was precisely working on dismantling my identity, so it would not do to get attached in that way with the stones. A huge part of that identification was seeing too much of my own path reflected in the readings, which is not a problem in itself, but it can sustain some pretty challenging illusions. Left unchecked, these illusions would eventually affect the quality of the service itself. Essentially, I could not allow my personal narrative to leak into the readings.

That said, sometimes the Runes are so clear and loud that ignoring them is just foolish. So yesterday, after another bout of mild discomfort for an issue that has been affecting my internet connection, I took one of the stones that I had here (I collect and carve stones, but I shall talk about that some other time) and decreed it charged with every obstacles, shadow, oppression, blockage, noise, disease, weakness and pain in my room and my home. I put on my shoes and left for a breath of fresh air. While I walked, I realized I had some serious work of self-forgiveness to do, for past mistakes, transgressions, bursts of aggression and violence against myself and others, etc. So I spent the whole way affirming that forgiveness, which eventually turned into a call for forgiveness in the entire city and the country (I have a very special and profound experience with my country's situation, but I shall also talk about that in other posts). I alternated this work with the work of charging the stone I carried in my hand with more of the same dense energy.

Originally, the plan was to get to Sabas Nieves, the Ávila's most active entry point, leave the stone in the earth and close to the roots of a tree, then go back to do some training at a square on the way home. However, as you can see in the pictures below, I ended up going all the way to Quebrada Quintero, a waterfall to the east of the Mountain, where I promptly followed the Daily Rune's advice, threw the stone into the cold stream, cleansed my Runes, washed my feet and then sprayed water over as much of my body as I could without stripping down or drenching my clothes.

I left renewed, energized, inspired and invigorated. My Intuition once again guided me unerringly through what I needed to do. If you are feeling that you need to visit the Sea, the Mountain or just take a long trip through your own city, do not hesitate, do it. It is guaranteed to help you in your current quest.

Siguiendo el consejo de la Runa

Con frecuencia veo mi propio proceso en las lecturas que hago diariamente, pero usualmente como anotaciones. Una de las principales razones por las que detuve mis lecturas diarias el año pasado fue porque me di cuenta de que me estaba identificando demasiado con la herramienta, y precisamente estaba trabajando en desmantelar mi idetidad, así que apegarme a las piedras de esa forma no iba a funcionar. Una gran parte de esta identificación fue ver demasiado de mi propio sendero reflejado en las lecturas, lo cual no es un problema en sí mismo, pero puede sustentar ilusiones bien retadoras. Sin cuidado, estas ilusiones eventualmente afectarían la calidad del servicio mismo. Esencialmente, no podía permitir que mi narrativa personal se filtrase en las lecturas.

Habiendo dicho ésto, a veces las Runas son tan claras y elocuentes que ignorarlas es tonto. Así que ayer, luego de otro acceso menor de incomodidad por un problema que está afectando mi conexión de internet, tomé una de las piedras que tenía acá (colecciono y tallo piedras, pero de eso hablará en otro momento) y decreté que se cargase de todos los obstáculos, sombra, opresión, bloqueo, ruido, enfermedad, debilidad y dolor en mi cuarto y mi hogar. Me puse mis zapatos y me fui a tomar un respiro de aire fresco. Mientras caminaba, me di cuenta de que tenía serio trabajo por hacer con el auto-perdón, por errores pasados, transgresiones, explosiones de agresión y violencia en contra de mí mismo y otros, etc. Así que me pasé todo el camino afirmando ese perdón, lo cual luego se transformó en un llamado a perdonar para la ciudad y el país enteros (tengo una experiencia muy especial y profunda con la situación de mi país, pero también hablaré de eso en otros artículos). Alterné este trabajo con el trabajo de cargar la piedra que llevaba en mi mano con más de esa misma energía densa.

Originalmente, el plan era llegar a Sabas Nieves, la entrada más activa del Ávila, dejar la piedra en la tierra y cerca de las raíces de un árbol, y luego devolverme para entrenar un poco en una plaza en la vía hacía mi casa. No obstante, como pueden ver en las imágenes abajo, terminé llegando hasta Quebrada Quintero, una cascada hacia el este de la Montaña, donde procedí a seguir el consejo de la Runa Diaria, lancé la piedra en el arroyo frío, limpié mis Runas, lavé mis pies y luego me eché agua por tanto de mi cuerpo como pude sin desnudarme o mojarme demasiado la ropa.

Me fui renovado, energizado, inspirado y vigorizado. Mi Intuición una vez más me guió con exactitud a través de lo que necesitaba hacer. Si sienten que necesitan una visita al Mar, a la Montaña o simplemente hacer un largo viaje por sus propias ciudades, no titubeen, háganlo. Les garantizo que les ayudará en su actual búsqueda.
