Whatever inspires you, pursue it

Yesterday I told you about Pleasure and how it's associated to Freedom and Discipline. I've also told you before about Purpose, that profound calling of the Soul to fulfill the specific function that we all have in the plain. All of these concepts are intimately linked, because there's no difference between playing our role in the world and satisfying our will. The more we walk our own path, the more we realize that everything we've always wished to do is also what we must do.

So today I encourage you to follow your true will in everything you do, to dedicate time and energy to those activities that make you passionate no matter what they might be or what others in your vicinity think about them. Review your interests and explore them in as much detail as possible: if wood carving or drawing draw your attention, start finding the materials, practicing; if you're attracted to the study of history, research and read daily about relevant events and figures; if you resonate with sports and physical training, establish a routine and be faithful to it.

Every knowledge or activity that inspires you is a contribution to that Path marked by the Will of your Souls. Don't stay only on the surface, read books and watch films more than once to extract further information, reproduce the designs that you do in order to refine your techniques, listen attentively to the experts in your areas so as to obtain better tools. Don't spare energy or sacrifice in the progress of these areas, give them all your Love and you'll be able to feel how all of your personal narrative reveals itself, organized around these driving threads, tributaries of the great river of your personal Purpose. Therein lies the secret for a free and full life.

Lo que sea que les inspire, explórenlo

Les hablé ayer sobre el Placer y cómo se asocia a la Libertad y la Disciplina. También les he hablado con anterioridad sobre el Propósito, ese profundo llamado del Alma a cumplir la función específica que todos tenemos en este plano. Todos estos conceptos están íntimamente ligados, pues no hay una diferencia entre cumplir nuestro rol en el mundo y satisfacer nuestra voluntad. A medida que recorremos nuestro sendero, nos vamos dando cuenta de que aquello que siempre deseamos hacer es también lo que debemos hacer.

Así pues, hoy les exhorto a seguir su voluntad verdadera en todo lo que hagan, a dedicarle tiempo y energía a aquellas actividades que les apasionan sin importar cuáles sean o qué piensen otros en su entorno sobre ellas. Revisen sus intereses y explórenlos al mayor detalle posible: si les llama la atención el tallado en madera o el dibujo, comiencen a conseguir los materiales, a practicar; si les atrae el estudio de la historia, investiguen y lean diariamente sobre eventos y figuras relevantes; si resuenan con el deporte y el entrenamiento físico, establezcan una rutina y sean fieles a ella.

Todo conocimiento o actividad que los inspire es una contribución a ese Camino marcado por la Voluntad de sus Almas. No se queden sólo con lo superficial, lean libros y vean películas más de una vez para extraer más información, reproduzcan los diseños que realicen para refinar sus técnicas, escuchen con atención a los expertos en sus áreas para obtener mejores herramientas. No escatimen energía ni sacrificios en el progreso de estas áreas, denles todo su Amor y podrán sentir cómo toda su narrativa personal se va revelando, organizándose en torno a esos hilos conductores, tributarios del gran río de su Propósito personal. He allí el secreto de una vida libre y plena.
