Combinando Runas y Sueños

Desde mi infancia, he tenido sueños profundamente vívidos que además recuerdo a gran detalle. Muchos de estos sueños realmente no parecían tales, se presentaban más como visiones de enorme complejidad. En un principio no eran experiencias regulares sino que variaban en intensidad y podía pasar semanas o incluso meses sin recordar ningún sueño, pero desde hace un par de años, puedo recordar mis sueños diariamente y también navegarlos de forma cada vez más activa y lúcida.

Los sueños son una materia muy interesante de estudio. No sólo expresan la tremenda variedad de códigos y conceptos que reposan en nuestro inconsciente personal, sino que también nos conectan con un espacio de pureza emocional y psíquica que es compartido por toda consciencia en el Universo, no sólo otros humanos. En consecuencia, la información que se puede extraer de ellos puede ser infinitamente útil y nunca pierde significado o vigencia. Hay sueños/visiones que tuve en mi infancia o adolescencia, que aún ahora siguen siendo significativos para mi proceso.

Es posible explorar estos espacios también en semi-vigilia a través de ceremonias, rituales, visualización y el consumo de sustancias psicotrópicas. También se pueden usar oráculos, frecuencias sonoras y otros instrumentos para facilitar el flujo. El año pasado, hacia noviembre aproximadamente, decidí incluir un nuevo elemento para mi estudio de sueños y comencé a sacar una o más Runas de la bolsa antes de dormir. El objetivo no era claro en su momento, pero se ha ido cristalizando con las semanas, pues las Runas funcionan como anclas que no sólo refuerzan el contenido onírico, sino que ofrecen un punto de referencia para la interpretación de ese contenido al despertar. La lectura de la Runa Nocturna está directamente asociada, por ende, a imágenes que vi en mi sueño de la noche anterior a la publicación. Eventualmente, expandiré más esas imágenes narrando mis sueños.

Combining Runes and Dreams

Since I was a child, I have had profoundly vivid dreams that I also remember in great detail. Many of these dreams really did not seem dreams at all, they emerged as visions of enormous complexity. In the beginning these were not regular experiences but varied in intensity and I could spend weeks or even months without recalling any dreams, but for the past couple of years, I can remember my dreams daily and also navigate them with increasingly active and lucid fashion.

Dreams are a fairly interesting subject of study. They not only express the tremendous variety of codes and concepts that reside in our personal unconscious, but they also connect us with a space of emotional and psychical purity that is shared with every consciousness in the Universe, no just other humans. Therefore, the information that can be extracted from them can be infinitely useful and never loses significance or validity. There are dreams/visions that I had in my childhood or adolescence, that even now continue to be meaningful for my process.

It is possible to explore these spaces also in semi-vigil through ceremonies, rituals, visualization and the consumption of psychotropic substances. Oracles, sound frequencies and instruments may also be used to facilitate the flow. Last year, toward November approximately, I decided to include a new element for my study of dreams and started pulling one or more Runes from the bag before going to sleep. The goal was not clear at the moment, but it has been gaining clarity throughout the weeks, because the Runes work as anchors that not only reinforce the oneiric content, but also offer a point of reference for the interpretation of that content upon waking. The reading of the Night Rune is thus directly associated with what I saw in my dream of the night prior to the publication. Eventually, I shall expand on these images by narrating my dreams.
